Soufiane Feki

Director

Musician and musicologist, a graduate from Sorbonne University, Soufiane Feki has been a research lecturer at the University of Tunis since 2003. Between 2013 and 2021, he served as the Director General of the Center for Arab and Mediterranean Music and then of the Théatre de l'opéra Tunis, both institutions under the Ministry of Cultural Affairs. During this period, Soufiane Feki managed major international cultural projects such as the Future Lab Tunisia project (in partnership with The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen). In 2022, he was appointed as General Coordinator of the Jaou Tunis contemporary art festival, an initiative by the Kamel Lazaar Foundation (KLF). Since 2023, Soufiane is currently Project Director of the KLF, where he oversees the Foundation’s activities and operations. In addition to managing cultural and artistic institutions and projects, Soufiane Feki collaborates with international donors as an expert evaluator.
