B7L9 and the Italian Cultural Institute of Tunis Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Tunisi present Lero Lero in concert, featuring a special appearance by Nessrine Jabeur.
Lero Lero is a collective born from a deep dive into Sicily’s oral music traditions. It’s about rediscovering a voice and reviving it through experimentation, manipulation, and shared creation.
More than a tribute, Lero Lero opens a window into a forgotten — often stereotyped — world, bridging generations and reconnecting with lost voices, fading trades, and transformed landscapes.
Through ongoing artistic dialogue, founders Alessio Bondì , @Donato Di Trapani , and Fabio Rizzo explore deeper philosophical and anthropological questions: Who are we? What remains when tradition fades? How can art become both expression and a way of giving back to a community whose heritage, as René Char put it, “was preceded by no intention”?
We are also thrilled to welcome Nessrine Jabeur as a special guest for this unique evening.
