Join us next Thursday, June 11 at 7 PM at B7L9 Art Centre for Genovarabe — an evening of Rap & Trap between Italy and Tunisia, bringing together a talk, a live acoustic concert, and a DJ set.
Genovarabe explores the creative energy of the Tunisian rap scene and its diaspora in Europe — reflecting on artistic practices, independent cultural production, and the transnational dialogue between Tunisia and the northern shore of the Mediterranean.
The talk will bring together Helmi, Gabriel Seroussi, Naji , Baba Lou, Ahmed Amine Zarrouki, and Abdellatif Ayari, moderated by Paolo Cerruto, with translation for Italian-speaking guests.
Following the talk, Helmi — one of the key voices of the Genovarabe crew — will perform an acoustic set alongside Nessrine Jabeur on guitar and Wael Jabeur on percussion, before continuing with three songs alongside his DJ and producer Chryverde.
Chryverde will then take over the terrace for a DJ set to close the night.
