Leper King started as a two man band founded by guitarist nader ben sassi and drummer aymen ben zin with the aim of creating a sludge/stoner metal sound.
As the project began to evolve, it caught the eyes of other musicians who ended up joining the band and enlarging the list of influences that were shaping the music creation process.
As it stands currently, Leper King consists of five members:
Ramzi Bouali (guitar,vocals).
Nader Ben Sassi (guitar).
Elyes Kabous (bass).
Slim Sassi (keyboard, guitar). Aymen Ben Zin (drums).
each coming from a different musical background thus creating a diverse and enriched sound while keeping the stoner rock/metal essence that unites all of the members.
Leper King offers a refreshing sound that oscillates between psychedelic, groovy, and heavy slow sections showcasing the various influences and artists that helped create this soundscape such as Kyuss,Sleep, Queens of The Stone Age, All Them Witches and various other bands.
