Farouk Shabou is the Project Manager of the B7L9 Art Center. A graduate in cultural management and policies from the University of Paris Dauphine, he has more than 8 years of experience in cultural project management. He held the position of Project Manager at the Tunis Opera Theatre and contributed to the planning of the strategic development programme of the Tunisian Symphony Orchestra and the development of new cooperation projects for the promotion of the Opera Theatre's activities. He was also the Director of Operations of the "Tunisie88" project, an associative project oriented towards youth. He has had the opportunity to coordinate more than 100 educational concerts, in high schools in all the governorates of Tunisia with the implementation of as many extra-curricular music clubs run by students. As a musician cellist, he has performed with several Orchestras in Tunisia and abroad. He was also principal cellist and member of the artistic committee of the Tunisian Symphony Orchestra. He co-founded the String Quartet "Cadences", one of the first formed in the Arab world, which has performed in numerous festivals in Tunisia and internationally.
